Many thanks to the Rhineland Regional Council (LVR - Landschaftsverband Rheinland) and the Westphalia-Lippe Regional Council (LWL - Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe) for hosting such an inspiring AI conference and for the opportunity to speak on the joint panel “AI and Participation in Work” about how artificial intelligence can help promote participation in working life.

At the heart of the discussion was the question of how artificial intelligence can support people with disabilities in the workplace and thereby strengthen participation, self-determination, and inclusion. Together with experts from practice, administration, and academia, we explored the opportunities AI offers for a more accessible world of work – as well as the ethical and organizational questions that need to be considered.
