alangu GmbH has been honored with the DEI Corporate Excellence Award 2026 in the “Inclusion” category. This award recognizes our contribution to greater digital accessibility and inclusion and reinforces our vision of designing communication that is accessible to everyone.

Our Vision: Communication Without Barriers
Local governments, job centers, insurance companies, and other institutions are already using our technology today. This demonstrates that digital accessibility is scalable and has a direct social impact.
A key factor in the success of our work is our consistently inclusive approach. Deaf and hearing experts from the fields of AI, 3D development, linguistics, and user experience work closely together at our company in an iterative, user-centered, and practical manner. This ensures that our solutions are not only technologically innovative but also meet the actual needs of users.
The award jury particularly highlights the impact and innovative power of our approach: a concrete contribution to greater participation in the workplace and to comprehensive digital accessibility.
In his laudatory speech, Prof. Dr. René Schmidpeter, professor of economics with a focus on sustainable management at the Bern University of Applied Sciences in Bern, and scientific researcher at the Parmenides Foundation, emphasized: “Equal access to information and communication is an essential component of democracy. alangu’s solution is unique and also exemplary from an entrepreneurial standpoint. Alangu has a huge impact on inclusion in our society.”
We would like to sincerely thank the organizers and the jury for this award and for recognizing our work. This prize belongs to our entire team as well as our community, which works every day to rethink and implement digital participation and accessibility.
This award motivates us to continue steadfastly on our path: toward an inclusive digital future in which communication is naturally accessible to everyone.
